NEW YORK, Dec. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- RCS Capital Corporation ("RCAP") (NYSE: RCAP) announced today that on December 23, 2013, RCAP's board of directors authorized and the Company declared a cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2013, to be paid on January 10, 2014, to Class A common stockholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2013 in an amount equal to $0.18 per share.

This cash dividend is consistent with the cash dividend declared and paid with respect to the third quarter of 2013 and equates to an annualized dividend rate of 3.6% based on RCAP's initial public offering price of $20.00 per share of Class A common stock.
