RBC Capital Markets and the New York Rangers Hall of Famers Raise More than $800,000 for Ronald McDonald® House New York at the 24th Annual "Skate with the Greats" Event

NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hockey legends and New York Rangers' Hall of Famers, Rod Gilbert and Brian Leetch, hosted the 24^th annual "Skate with the Greats" at The Rink at Rockefeller Center on Friday, February 16. The New York City staple event supports the Ronald McDonald House^® New York, which provides a temporary home and support services for families and children who are battling pediatric cancer. The event, which featured skating alongside legends, food and a live, silent auction with signed sports memorabilia, raised more than $800,000 and provided a fun a respite to families staying at the House.

The participation of the New York Rangers is possible through a partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization that works with The Madison Square Garden Company and MSG Networks Inc. to positively impact the lives of children facing obstacles. Since the event's inception it has become a winter milestone providing an opportunity for House residents to enjoy a small part of what New York City has to offer.
