Global leader in consumer health and hygiene honored as the fourth greenest company in the world
PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - RB has received international recognition by being named one of the world's most environmentally-responsible companies by Newsweek. Ranking fourth out of 500 organizations, and first amongst consumer staples companies, this award further recognizes RB's continuous improvement in sustainability.

RB jumped a dramatic 198 spots in one year having been ranked number 202 on the Newsweek Green Ranking list in 2014. RB is committed to improving and reducing the overall carbon footprint and water impact of its products. In addition, 74 percent of RB factories are now sending zero waste to landfills and the company has reduced water use by 24 percent and energy use 13 percent (per unit of production) since 2012.
The Newsweek Green Rankings, created in partnership with Corporate Knights, HIP and Investor Inc., ranks the top 500 largest companies in the world on corporate sustainability and environmental impact. The award looks at eight indicators that are used to assess and measure environmental performance. The eight indicators are: Combined Energy Productivity; Combined Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Productivity; Combined Water Productivity; Combined Waste Productivity; Green Revenue Score; Green Pay Link; Sustainability Board Committee and Audited Environmental Metrics.
