MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RAZR, a Minnesota-headquartered technology and marketing services company, has announced that Paul Kelzer has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. He assumes the COO role after serving as the company's Vice President, Client Services, and retains his product development leadership role.
Kelzer began his tenure with RAZR as one of the company's original partners when it was established in 2005. "I was employee number five," he explained. "And I've worn every hat in operations. Now that RAZR is significantly expanding our consumer engagement solutions, the new title really serves to formalize my role."
"I always refer to Paul as a 'MacGyver,'" said RAZR CEO Darren Nauss. "Give him a matchbox and he'll build you a tank. He gets it done. No mountain is too high. We promoted Paul because he has phenomenal leadership skills and he's an entrepreneur at heart."
Before joining RAZR, Kelzer was Vice President, Client Services at Penn Garritano Direct Response Marketing (now the Garritano Group). Prior to Garritano, he held a variety of product and business development positions at Carlson Marketing Group (now Aimia).
RAZR (razrhq.com) has been recognized with numerous honors including a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Best Place to Work and the Fast 50 Award for the fastest-growing private companies in the Twin Cities. Earlier this month, the company announced its acquisition of Twin Cities-based Larsen Design and the launch of rev ® 2.0, a proprietary platform that enables dynamic audience engagement for financial services and healthcare marketers.
