STOW, Ohio, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Razorleaf Corporation today announces Clover, its open integration platform, is releasing ERP connectors for SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, MAPICS/Infor and other ERP systems. Clover will enable the passing of business and product data such as customer and supplier information, items and bills of materials, and change documents to improve productivity and enable agility through sharing accurate information. Clover goes beyond typical middleware and ensures that contextual business processes are aligned for passing data to improve process efficiency and data integrity.
"Our customers find their biggest productivity gains come from connecting business processes between ERP and Product Data Management or PLM. Core processes like Order Management need to flow across an organization, intersecting business systems with varying data structures. Sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing all need to have the most current information, and without process-led integration strategies, many organizations are using inaccurate data up and down the organization," stated Eric Doubell, CEO of Razorleaf Corporation. "By feeding current, accurate product data across systems, SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional users can improve the way they work and increase efficiency."
"The most common PLM to ERP integration points that we see are around items/materials, BOM and vendor/supplier information. For example, in most cases the information related to items and materials or BOMs originates in the product design department's PDM/PLM system, yet that data needs to eventually make it to the ERP system. The new Clover-based integrations for SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional allow this hand-off of data to happen automatically and without duplicate data entry," stated Derek Neiding, Director of Integration Services for Razorleaf. "Technically, Clover is a great fit for this. Being middleware-based, Clover allows these connections without heavy customization of either endpoint. Additionally, since it's middleware, the solution works well for one-to-one integrations and provides even better value for one-to-many integrations. Clover can not only get your PDM data to your ERP system but can then also integrate that same data with your CRM, ECM or other business system."
About Clover Integration Platform
Razorleaf's Clover platform operates using industry standard connection methods including SOAP, Web Services and direct database connections and pairs with application-specific connectors to facilitate synchronized, real time data exchange. It uses third-party microservices that allow files, renditions, and critical business data to arrive in the right format, at the right time, on the cloud and/or on premise, to the employees, customers, and vendors who need it. Clover can be paired with 1:1 or 1:many connectors, providing maximum scalability and enabling business data to move seamlessly through an organization.
