Raytheon Wins U.S. Army Operations and Training Services Contract
DULLES, Va., March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has won a U.S. Army Forces Command contract to provide an expedited process in satisfying the needs of operational customers throughout the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense. This indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multiple-award task order contract has a ceiling value of $2.5 billion.
Under the Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services (OPTARSS) II contract, task orders will be issued for services that address operational planning; training; modeling and simulation; flight operations; mobilization plans and execution; deployment operations; force protection and transformation. OPTARSS II is a five-year contract.
