Raytheon Wins DHS ICE Investigative Case Management Modernization Contract
New system will allow information sharing across more than 100 databases
DULLES, Va., Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has awarded a contract to Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) for the development of a modernized investigative case management system to replace the agency's legacy system. The contract calls for Raytheon to deliver a system that will streamline and improve ICE agents' ability to investigate, manage, report and collaborate on law enforcement and national security efforts.

Raytheon will create a Web-enabled system that will bring enhanced investigative case management features to ICE agents through various channels, including mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. The system will offer the features required to support ICE's mission, including core case management, intelligent reporting, subject records and workflow tracking. The modernized ICE investigative case management system will also be designed to interface with more than 100 disparate databases from across the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies for improved information sharing, inter-agency collaboration and federated search.
