Raytheon Forms Partnership to Pursue U.S. Air Force Range Integration Contract
DULLES, Va., April 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), is teaming with General Dynamics, ASRC Aerospace Corporation, ARES Corporation, Schafer Corporation and World Technical Services Incorporated (WTSI) to provide integrated operations support to the U.S. Air Force space community.
As experts in developing and delivering range operations customized engineering solutions and logistics support, Raytheon is bidding on the Air Force's upcoming Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Integrated Support Contract (LISC). Raytheon has named former NASA astronaut Don McMonagle as program director to lead the LISC team.

LISC consolidates the existing operations and maintenance effort at the Eastern and Western launch ranges and the engineering and sustainment work at the Space and Missile Center into a single range support contract to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
