Ray Super Remote Moves Beyond TV, Works With Nest
The Touchscreen Universal Remote Offers its First Home Integration With New App for the Nest Learning Thermostat
NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ray Enterprises, a next generation consumer technology company, announced today that its Ray Super Remote now works with the Nest Learning Thermostat to give Ray customers control of their homes beyond the living room. Ray is an intuitive, touchscreen universal remote that looks and feels like a smart phone, controls thousands of devices, and recommends what to watch on TV. The remote works with the Nest Thermostat through a new app by Ray, created exclusively for the remote.
Nest is Ray's first integration with a device for the home. The connection allows Ray customers to control the Nest Thermostat directly from their Ray remote. Created through the Works with Nest program, the app enables users to log in with their Nest account to view all their structures, set Home/Away mode for any structure, see the thermostats in each structure, and control the temperature and HVAC mode of all of their thermostats.

The Ray app for the Nest Thermostat is now available for all Ray customers at no additional charge. The app was released through a software update automatically sent to all Ray remotes.
