Rave Computer Named Michigan Small Business Government Contractor of the Year
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., April 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Rave Computer, a leader in providing purpose built computer systems, was named Michigan Small Business Government Contractor of the Year at the Michigan Celebrates Small Business Awards Ceremony held at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Mich. Rave Computer was nominated by the Macomb Regional PTAC.
The Michigan Celebrates Small Business (MCSB) event is an annual awards program created by five founding organizations to recognize the importance of successful small businesses across the state of Michigan. MCSB honors those businesses and their supporters who greatly contribute to the overall growth of Michigan's economy.
Event speakers included Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Richard Sheridan of Menolo Innovations.

The 12 Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) of Michigan were each asked to nominate one business from their region for the Small Business Government Contracting Award. The Macomb Regional PTAC has approximately 450-500 active clients of which Rave Computer was chosen for the nomination.
