Students also complete a surgical technologist practicum in a real-world healthcare environment. The program can be completed in as few as 21 months.3 Upon graduation, Surgical Technologist students are prepared for the CST National certification exam. Students can then choose to enter the workforce or continue their education by transferring their credits into the Rasmussen College Health and Wellness Bachelor's degree program.
"All of our Surgical Technologist courses are taught by experienced faculty and our surgical suite offers a hands-on, practical setting," said Chante Yearby, Rasmussen College Surgical Technologist program coordinator.
