Rasmussen College Launches Support+ Network to Better Meet the Needs of Incoming and Current Students
College updates its brand identity and logo to evolve with today's higher education needs
BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Rasmussen College today announced the launch of its new Support+ services network designed to better meet the needs of incoming and current students in achieving their educational and career goals. Support+ is a comprehensive and customized suite of student services that helps students overcome any obstacles they might encounter while working toward degree completion. Combined with the launch of a new logo for Rasmussen College, Support+ is part of a larger brand campaign message that places students first in higher education.
Support+ is available to all students at no additional cost and consists of program managers, financial aid advisors, 24/7 technical assistance, academic tutoring, industry-experienced instructors, career service advisors and a portfolio of other student support services customized to help students achieve academic and career success. Incoming students not yet enrolled at Rasmussen College will also have access to these services during their decision-making and enrollment process.
"Rasmussen College has always had a strong commitment to providing the necessary resources that will help ensure our student's success," said Tom Slagle, Rasmussen College CEO. "Support+ is the next evolution of that commitment. Our unique network of services is customized to meet the individual needs of each student so that they can better achieve their academic and career goals."
Founded in 1900 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Rasmussen College is a regionally-accredited, private college that offers over 60 market-relevant and career-focused degrees at the certificate, diploma, associate's, and bachelor's level both online and across its 22 campuses in the Midwest and Florida. Currently, Rasmussen College enrolls more than 15,000 students nationwide.
The new logo for Rasmussen College will be integrated into existing materials and implemented in the current campus environments. Working alongside the Support+ messaging, the new logo gives hierarchy to the Rasmussen College name while bringing to the forefront the core student services foundation upon which Rasmussen College was established.
A new website will launch on October 10, 2011 highlighting both of these elements.
