Rasmussen College Awards $20 Million in Scholarships to Students
Named by CBS Moneywatch.com as a Top Educational Organization, Rasmussen College Continues to Grow its Scholarship Program
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- As more student financial grant programs fall victim to state and federal budget cuts, Rasmussen College was recently named by CBS Moneywatch.com one of the top educational organizations helping students alleviate financial burdens by offering affordable solutions. The article, "14 Colleges with Tuition Bargains," highlights the college's continued efforts to make available more than $20 million in scholarships to students each year.
"As notable state financial aid programs are cutting back assistance, Rasmussen is offering a variety of scholarships through a stress-free process orchestrated by financial aid staff at each of our 17 campuses," President of Rasmussen College Kristi Waite said. "Our goal is to provide students from all backgrounds with the opportunity to earn an education and their degree from Rasmussen College."
The following scholarships offer a snapshot of the diverse array of financial assistance available to Rasmussen College students:
Accelerated Graduation Scholarship – Designed to assist those that aim to graduate early, this scholarship helps students reach their goals at an expedited pace. Students enrolled in 13+ credits are eligible for a $500 Accelerated Graduation Scholarship each quarter.
On-Time Graduation Scholarship – Students enrolled in between 9 and 12 credits are eligible for a $300 On-Time Graduation Scholarship each quarter. In addition, students that begin coursework in February, May, August or November, and are enrolled in 7 or 8 credits per quarter, are eligible to receive a $200 On-Time Graduation Scholarship during their first quarter. These scholarships can total up to $6,000 in financial assistance over the course of a Bachelor's degree program and are designed to reward students for working to graduate on time.
Early Enrollment Tuition Grant – High School Seniors can earn up to $10,000 in a grant or scholarship by meeting one of two early enrollment deadlines.
Dollars for Scholars – As a partner of the nationally recognized volunteer-operated community scholarship foundation, Rasmussen College will match up to $500 in Dollars for Scholars awards per student.
