On 7 July, Rare was recognised as a leader in financial communications after winning a SILVER award in the 'Best Annual Report for a Non-listed Company' category for its work with Royal London. The project, which launched the Group strategy and brand positioning was recognised by a panel of 25 expert judges from Europe's leading companies and organisations.
The awards recognise companies with innovative and creative communications strategies that excel at communicating to multiple stakeholders with a single distinct voice. Those companies that received awards last night did so because of their flexible approach to digital, print and personal communications. The Corporate & Financial Awards' winners set a true benchmark in communicating with the City and those who influence it.
Creative Director Lee Smith said: "we are delighted to have had our work recognised by a panel of this calibre and it proves that you don't have to be a large agency to create outstanding communications"
Sanjay Mistry, head of corporate communications in Northern Europe at Henkel and a Corporate & Financial judge, said: "The standard of entries this year was very high which made judging the nominees very difficult".
Brittany Golob, editor of Communicate magazine, said: The awards reflect the changing times in corporate comms and the growing challenges that modern business must face. But the winners of the 2015 Corporate & Financial Awards also reflect the quality of the corporate communications industry and the growing recognition of communications as an essential tool to reputation management and to maintaining a successful business."
The 2015 Corporate & Financial Awards were hosted by British business journalist and presenter on the Today programme, Simon Jack, during a gala dinner at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The Corporate & Financial Awards were launched in 2012 and have grown in size and stature year on year.
