AUSTIN, Texas, April 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Compeat, the most comprehensive all-in-one integrated restaurant accounting, back office, workforce and intelligence management software is proud to announce the appointment of Tony Hall to the newly developed role of Chief Technology Officer. Reporting to the CEO, Jeff Stone, Hall will oversee the strategy and performance of Compeat's overall technology platforms and systems, with an emphasis on platform modernization, integration, talent development, and releasing new, innovative products and features to the market.
"Compeat is solving the significant problems that restaurant operators face daily, and I'm excited to be leading an incredibly talented technology team that is delivering a definitive solution to the industry," says Hall. "The road ahead is full of opportunities for us to continue advancing the design and functionality of Compeat's portfolio to continually improve the overall user experience while developing new, innovative products for the future."
Hall brings to Compeat over 20 years of leadership experience, ranging from large software teams developing cloud products to tight teams focused on strategic initiatives. Throughout his career, Hall has developed a strong background in leading globally distributed teams to deliver SaaS software in an agile DevOps environment. Previously, Hall led the core software platform for Q2 Software as Vice President of Engineering. In addition, he was Director of IoT Cloud Platform Engineering for Cisco Systems and Vice President of Engineering at two different technology startups.
Hall's addition falls into the same quarter that Kathy Wirt was welcomed into the newly developed role of SVP of Product Management, demonstrating Compeat's commitment to taking their portfolio to the next level of innovation and excellence. Since Wirt's appointment, the company has already seen significant advancements in the user experience, user interface and key performance metrics.
"As Compeat continues to grow, it became clear we needed additional pioneering technology experts who could help us deliver on our ambitious roadmap led by technology, innovation and data," states Stone. "By adding new expertise and capabilities to our executive team, we are positioning Compeat for even greater innovation and improved customer experience."
The two latest additions round out Compeat's powerhouse leadership team in which Stone was named Nation's Restaurant News' "Reader Picks 2019: Industry Leaders" and CMO Kristi Turner was named as an award recipient for Hospitality Technology (HT) magazine's 2019 Top Women in Restaurant Technology for Lifetime Achievement. The leadership team is also unique with a 50/50 male and female split in the traditionally male-dominated technology industry, which according to Stone, has helped drive optimal performance to help the organization grow.
