Randstad US, Professionals Announces Inspiring Experts Contest Winners
Second annual contest brought in more than 300 videos from students and professionals
BOSTON, Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Randstad US, the second largest HR services and staffing company in the world, announced today the winners of its second annual Inspiring Experts video contest and captured winner reactions on a Google+ Hangout broadcast. The campaign's goal is to educate and encourage students and professionals to consider entering promising careers in top industries experiencing talent shortages, including IT, engineering, pharma/life sciences, healthcare and finance and accounting.
As part of the campaign, Randstad asked students and professionals to submit a two-minute video illustrating why they are passionate about their current or future careers. More than 300 videos were submitted for the second year in a row.
"The Inspiring Experts contest offers professionals and students an opportunity to look through the lens of today's workforce, to see what they are passionate about, the rewards they enjoy and how they are making a difference in the world," said Kristin Kelley, EVP of Marketing for Randstad US. "As a company, we feel it is our responsibility to not only fill this impending skills gap with our pipeline of talent, but also educate the workforce of tomorrow on what stable industries have growing demand. We are thrilled at the success of our second campaign and the impact we are making by cultivating these important conversations and ultimately educating the future of our country."
