Randstad US and Girl Scouts partner to present "She Succeeds: Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow" event

Girls in the 6^th to 12^th grade will also have the opportunity to hear from and meet highly-accomplished, trailblazing women, while getting real-world advice on achieving their career ambitions in a "speed-mentoring" activity with local area Randstad leaders.

This event will provide a space where girls can connect with leaders in their community and learn some of the things they can do now to prepare for what lies ahead," said Fiatte, who also serves on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. "Randstad is committed to empowering our next generation of leaders and we couldn't be more thrilled to take this opportunity to educate these young women and serve as mentors at this critical age."

"We want to help overcome the common misconceptions associated with STEM and show girls how fun and rewarding it can be," said Williams. "Growing up, I loved math and technology, but they weren't considered cool subjects. Our goal is to help these girls walk away from the event feeling confident and capable of becoming mathematicians, scientists, engineers, computer programmers or anything else they put their mind to."

"By introducing girls to STEM at a young age, Girl Scouts is increasing girls' confidence in STEM-related abilities and supporting their leadership development," said Candice Schaefer, director of program at Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. "We're grateful for the role models, such as Traci and Kelley, who can provide real-life insights into how girls can prepare for successful careers in STEM."
