Randon reports its 4Q2015 and 2015 fiscal period results

CAXIAS DO SUL, Brazil, March 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Randon S.A.- Implementos e Participacoes (BM&FBovespa - RAPT3 and RAPT4), the controlling holding company of eight companies operating within the segments of vehicles and trailers/semi-trailers, auto parts and financial services, reports its results for the fourth quarter of 2015 (4Q2015) and for the 2015 fiscal period ended Dec 31,2015. The financial and operating information of the Company, except when otherwise stated, are consolidated in accordance with the international standards of IFRS – International Financial Reporting Standards and the monetary values are denominated in Reais.

• 2015 Total Gross Revenue, before consolidation, is R$ 4.2 billion, a drop of 22.4% as compared with 2014;
• 2015 Consolidated Net Revenue reached R$ 3.1 billion, 18.0% lower than 2014;
• 2015 EBITDA is R$ 161.9 million, 67.0% lower than 2014 and 2015 Adjusted EBITDA is R$ 258.2 million;
• R$ 24.6 million of Net Loss in 2015, with a Net Margin of -0.8%, against Net Profit of R$ 202.0 million in 2014.

HIGHLIGHTS

The main highlights of the quarter were:

- Consolidated Net Revenue totaled R$ 814.9 million on 4Q2015, 10.6% less than the 4Q2014 (R$ 911.5 million).

- EBITDA had, in 4Q2015, a drop of 79.3% compared with 4Q2014, reaching R$ 21.4 million against R$ 103.4 million in the same period last year.

- Consolidated foreign sales reached US$ 36.8 million in the quarter, a decrease of 8.0%, compared with the same quarter in 2014.

- Net Loss of R$ 21.0 million in the quarter and Net Margin of -2.6%, against R$ 39.6 million of Net Profit, or 4.3% of net revenue in 4Q2014.
