PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 31, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Sidecar has appointed Ralph Folz to the company's Board of Directors. Folz is an entrepreneur, innovator, and mentor, with a career dedicated to building fast growing and influential companies in digital marketing and SaaS.
As CEO and later Executive Chairman of WordStream, Folz drove the company's revenue growth from $1 million to over $50 million annually. During his tenure, WordStream was honored on the Inc. 5000 for six consecutive years, and named a Top Place to Work for four consecutive years. Folz led WordStream's acquisition by Gannett in 2018.

Folz has a deep background in the digital marketing space, including founding Molecular, an interactive Web design and marketing agency that was later acquired by Isobar. Folz was then appointed Global Chief Operating Officer of Isobar, one of the largest digital marketing agencies in the world and part of the Dentsu Aegis Network.
Folz has extensive experience supporting organizations through board positions. He was a member of Codeship's Board of Directors, guiding the company through its acquisition by Cloudbees in 2018. He was also the lead Independent Board Director for Backupify, advising the company through its acquisition by Datto.
