WESTBURY, N.Y., May 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- With winter behind us and summer in sight, the New York metro area preps for the yet another car show season. And as tradition goes, Rallye BMW's (6th) Annual MotorSport Show will be held on the first Sunday in June (June 7th, 2015).
Started in 2010, the Rallye BMW MotorSport Show is a family friendly event that gives BMW enthusiasts a chance to show off their favorite cars, and serves as a great social place for the audience to enjoy the cars on display, discuss upcoming events, and check out everything Rallye BMW has to offer.
The idea for a car show came about when Rallye BMW noticed an opportunity to serve BMW clients and enthusiasts in the surrounding communities that share a passion for the BMW brand.
Rallye BMW's event grows each year, attracting over 1,000 spectators and 175+ BMW's from all over the tri-state area. The show caters to a wide variety of enthusiasts with show categories and trophies that are updated each year.
The goal for Rallye BMW and their MotorSport Show is to keep it a family friendly event that's comfortable for adults and children to enjoy the cars, entertainment and the facility in a safe, respectable atmosphere.
Some things to look forward to for this year's show:
- Free Admission for guests
- 175+ custom, rare and vintage BMW's
- Free Entertainment (Music provided by the School of Rock)
- Free Face painting and balloon artists
- Delicious barbecue food and snacks
- Great selection of raffle items (proceeds to support the American Red Cross and the family of NYPD Officer Brian Moore)
This year's show car competition is open to modified and classic BMW's. If you'd like to enter your BMW into the show please email [email protected].
Show car registration has been free of charge in years past, but this year Rallye has put a $10 show car entry fee in place to support the family of NYPD Officer Brian Moore who was recently killed in the line of duty.
