Rally Software Announces Plans to Relocate Corporate Headquarters to Accommodate Rapid Growth
Staying in the innovative Boulder tech community where the company was founded, Rally continues to grow, expand and hire
BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Rally®, the leader in Agile application lifecycle management (ALM), today announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to 3333 Walnut Street, Boulder, CO, effective February 2011. Rally plans to lease the entire 65,545 square-foot building to sustain its growth. Rally also recently expanded its remote offices in Raleigh, North Carolina and London, doubling the size of both offices to accommodate hiring efforts in these locations.
"Ultimately our business achievements result from deep collaboration among our staff, as well as a dedication to positive customer interactions," said Tim Miller, Rally's CEO. "We're involving employees and customers in the process of designing the new office space at Walnut Street to create a place where employees, customers, partners and members of the community feel comfortable sharing ideas and opinions."
The Walnut Street building will also be home to Agile University™, a training center offering world-class courses that help organizations customize Agile practices and integrate them into their unique environments to achieve true business agility. Agile University supports 43 trainers and has trained over 4,800 students. For more information, visit www.agileuniversity.org.
Rally has partnered with award-winning design firm DLR Group to work with staff throughout the process of designing Rally's new workplace. Based on a culture that emphasizes collaboration and employee involvement at all levels, DLR is surveying employees and facilitating interactive design sessions. Site visits to Stanford's d.school and Menlo Innovations have also inspired ideas about how to build flexible working environments that foster rapid Agile cycles, an innovative culture, heightened collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high-productivity and throughput.
"In getting to know Rally's business, culture and the people that make up the organization, we're really impressed with the truly collaborative nature of the company," said Angela Castleton, Principal at DLR Group. "Rally is extending the innovative design-thinking approach it brings to Agile software development – in which solutions evolve through collaboration among self-organizing, cross-functional teams – to creating the right environment for fostering a culture of collaboration at Rally's new worldwide headquarters."
Rally engaged the services of Acquire, one of the leading commercial real estate companies of the Front Range, to negotiate and lease the Walnut Street building. "Boulder continues to have the right mix of ingredients to serve as an entrepreneurial haven for high tech," said President and Managing Broker of Acquire, Paige Coker Heiman. "We were especially excited that Acquire found Rally a large enough space in Boulder to accommodate the fast-growth of one of the city's key technology employers - and one of Boulder's biggest successes."
Employing over 200 people worldwide, Rally's active hiring pace has remained steady throughout 2010. Rally currently has over 20 positions open in Engineering, IT, Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Administration.
