Rally Hires Angela T. Tucci as First Chief Marketing Officer

BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Rally (NYSE: RALY), a leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for managing Agile software development, today announces that Angela T. Tucci will serve as the company's first chief marketing officer (CMO). In this role, Angela will lead Rally's worldwide marketing efforts, including strategy, branding, and product marketing as the company continues its aggressive growth trajectory.

Angela will work collaboratively with Rally's executive leadership, product, and sales teams to develop and implement customer acquisition, expansion and retention strategies to drive sustained awareness of Rally's brand and revenue growth across its sales channels and markets worldwide.

A veteran of the enterprise software industry, Angela has more than 17 years experience leading, developing and executing successful global marketing and strategy initiatives. She most recently served as chief strategy officer for Symantec Corporation, a global leader in security, backup and availability solutions, where she was responsible for the company's mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investing and strategic partnerships. Prior to her tenure at Symantec, Angela was chief strategy officer at NEON Enterprise Software.

Like most of Rally's executive team, Angela's background is steeped in entrepreneurial experience. She co-founded cloud-computing company Terraspring in 1999, which was later acquired by Sun Microsystems, and co-founded Indicative Software in 2003, which was acquired by CA/Nimsoft.

Angela holds a master's degree in business from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in physics from Princeton University.
