Raelians Say United Kingdom Covered up Evidence of Vatican Pedophilia
Raelian Movement files Freedom of Information Request with U.K. Cabinet
LONDON, Nov. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Sept. 13, 2010, the European Raelian Movement filed a lawsuit against Pope Benedict XVI in The High Court (RCJ Queen's Bench Division, Case Number : HQ10D03453) just days before his United Kingdom visit arranged by the U.K. Cabinet. The lawsuit alleged that Benedict and the Vatican, due to their stance on condom use, are responsible for millions of deaths, for the orphaning of children, and for the needless HIV infection of additional millions. The lawsuit also alleged that Benedict (then Cardinal Ratzinger) ordered ongoing retaliation against the Raelian Movement because it denounced the Vatican for promoting and covering up pedophilia, and that the retaliation included the persecution of Raelians in both the United Kingdom and worldwide.
"While the lawsuit was accepted by the High Court, Master Foster stayed service of papers to the Pope during the Pope's visit to the United Kingdom, and he later refused to lift the stay on service without a hearing and without comment," said Brigitte Boisselier, spokesperson for the Raelian Movement. "That denial of service effectively blocked the summons from being carried out."
Boisselier said Raelians are determined to get to the bottom of the cover up and see that the truth is made public.
"After waiting for over a year for the High Court to respond, it seems there is a conspiracy within the U.K. government to protect these criminals in the Vatican," she said. "We filed the Freedom of Information request as an attempt to learn more about this matter, and if a response isn't forthcoming in due course, we will go to the national courts and then to the European Court of Human Rights until we get the truth. The European Union may not look so favorably on the facts."
Boisselier said Raelians have deduced that the U.K. court blocked service of papers to the Pope at the request of the U.K. cabinet to avoid embarrassment during the Pope's visit.
"That makes the U.K. government complicit in acts of pedophilia and crimes against humanity," Boisselier stated. She said Raelians are seeking all relevant records relating to the U.K. cabinet's actions.
In addition, she noted that Raelians contest the Pope's status as a head of state, which grants him immunity from prosecution in many countries.
"The prime minister or president of any country should not be immune from prosecution," Boisselier said. "Therefore, it's also absolutely unacceptable that the Pope or any Vatican official escape justice simply because it's considered politically incorrect to prosecute a 'man of God.' Obviously, the Vatican harbors evil when it causes the spread of AIDS or protects pedophiles."
