RADWIN's Wireless Broadband Links Chosen by BBnet, ISP in Ireland

TEL-AVIV, Israel, February 11 /PRNewswire/ -- RADWIN (http://www.radwin.com), the leading provider of Backhaul and Broadband Wireless Solutions, today announced that BBnet, an ISP in Ireland, deployed RADWIN's solutions to provide high-capacity connectivity to rural villages. Irish Wireless, RADWIN's Certified Partner in Ireland, was in charge of project deployment.

Barry O' Halloran, Managing Director at BBnet, stated: "Before we chose RADWIN we used a license-free product and the max data throughput was 3 Mbps because of major interference in the area. RADWIN's systems overcome RF interference and throughput jumped to 17 Mbps full duplex at a distance of more than 16 Km.
