RADWIN's wireless broadband in motion solution is already in advanced deployment stages in key rail and metro projects around the world.

Today there are metro systems that record video from onboard the trains but the footage is downloaded only when the trains reach the stations. Other systems have tried to utilize WiFi-based solutions to accomplish real time CCTV transmission to the NOC, however, this required a substantial number of access point installations and compounded network complexity. RADWIN's train-to-ground wireless broadband solution goes beyond standard Wi-Fi and incorporates advanced technologies to enhance throughput, coverage and robustness. The solution delivers the highest capacity (50 - 100 Mbps) for trains that travel at speeds of up to 200Km/h.
