Race Cars and Race Karts Exhibition Opens New York Auto Show
Javits Center Becomes 'Racetrack' for Opening Festivities April 3rd
NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Skip Barber Racing School, Long Island Karting Association, Lime Rock Park race track, and the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) are joining together to host a fast-paced, in-your-face racing exhibition to commemorate the opening of the 110th annual NYIAS. The event, which includes demonstrations of Mazda and Lotus sports cars plus 150+ mph racing go karts, takes place on Saturday, April 3 from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
Come watch real race car drivers perform slaloms, emergency braking, and evasive maneuvering techniques in front of the Javits Center. The event will also feature go kart races in various competition categories.
