Rabbi David Levy Named Director AJC New Jersey
NEW YORK, May 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AJC has named Rabbi David C. Levy as director of the global Jewish advocacy organization's New Jersey regional office.
"I am thrilled to be joining AJC as New Jersey Regional Director, and look forward to working with an amazing team that has a global focus on issues of critical importance to the American Jewish community," said Levy. He comes to AJC after a career spanning 29 years as a pulpit rabbi and community activist.
"I feel especially privileged to lead AJC's mission as part of the New Jersey Jewish community, where I have lived and served as a rabbi for 16 years, first at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun in Short Hills and, more recently, at Temple Shalom in Succasunna," Levy added.
AJC New Jersey leadership warmly welcomed Levy's appointment.
