R. David Resch Elected President Of Minnesota Dental Association
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Minnesota Dental Association recently held its annual House of Delegates meeting at Madden's Resort in Brainerd where R. David Resch, D.D.S. was elected as Association President.
A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with degrees in chemistry and psychology, Dr. Resch went on to earn his D.D.S. degree in 1978 at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has been in private practice since then.
Dr. Resch is very active in organized dentistry. He is a member of the MDA's Environment and Safety Committee, where he also served as co-chair for several years and helped draft OSHA regulations. He also currently serves on the Board of Dentistry Task Force. He is a past member and chair of the MDA's Scientific Session Committee and a past president of the Saint Paul District Dental Society. He has been a long term member of the Organization for Sterilization and Aseptic Procedures (OSAP) and has lectured on infection control and OSHA regulations both regionally and at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and an associate member of the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Resch has an impressive history of volunteering and giving back to the community, earning him the prestigious MDA President's Award in 2013.
