Quixey Hires Former eBay, Yahoo Executive Sudhir Mohan To Lead Engineering Team
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Quixey, The Search Engine for Apps, today announced the hiring of Sudhir Mohan as its Executive Vice President of Engineering. Mohan, a Silicon Valley veteran, brings over 25 years of software product development experience to the company. In his new role, Mohan will be responsible for leading Quixey's world-class engineering and science team and guiding the company's technology innovation and development.

Formerly, Mohan spent four years at eBay, where he held several management positions in technology. While there, he guided cutting-edge advancement in search, big data analytics and intelligence, personalization, catalog and classification, real-time merchandizing, and yield optimization. Prior to eBay, Mohan spent five years at Yahoo as the technology executive leading vertical search. There, he led the global Vespa platform engineering team to power search in all of Yahoo's consumer websites worldwide, like Mobile, Shopping, Image, Video, News, Local, Finance, Mail, Flickr, and others.
