Quixey Expands Globally with New Israel Office

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Quixey, The Search Engine for Apps, today announced its plans to open a new office in Tel Aviv, Israel, expanding its international presence and bringing in deeper talent to focus on refining its search capabilities. Following its recent $50M Series C funding round, the company aims to recruit aggressively and continue to provide the most intuitive app search and discovery solutions worldwide.

Quixey founder and CEO Tomer Kagan, an Israeli native, along with other Quixey engineering leaders, are in Tel Aviv this week to begin the vetting and interview process. The action plan is to assemble a team of key engineering talent that will work in constant coordination with Quixey's core team in Mountain View, CA. By the end of 2014, the office will grow to 15-20 employees.
