The Brand Incubator builds on Quiet's expertise in growing and scaling e-Commerce startups and digitally native brands, and underscores the significance of a true fulfillment partnership to the long-term success of an emerging brand.
"We are thrilled to launch the Quiet Brand Incubator to give tomorrow's most promising new e-brands the kind of fulfillment relationship they need to thrive," said Brian Lemerise, President of Quiet Logistics. "Over the years we have had the privilege to partner with fantastic brands like Bonobos, Mack Weldon, Outdoor Voices and M.Gemi early in their lifecycle. One of the things we love most is working with excited and driven entrepreneurs. We are eager to enable world-class delivery experiences for the next awesome e-Commerce brand."
Quiet receives dozens of inquiries each quarter from emerging brands, which are often too small to achieve volume minimums required by outsourced solution providers, or too focused on other core competencies to handle shipping internally. By allocating warehouse space and specialized attention to help launch these e-Commerce startups, Quiet empowers them with much-needed services from a like-minded partner, while maximizing its own revenue per square foot with carefully structured pricing.
The Incubator's first client is Uwila Warrior, a forward-thinking women's lingerie brand that promises to disrupt the global underwear market by offering luxurious product with a fresh, youthful spirit.
Said Lemerise, "Developed by a team with expertise in finance, strategy, marketing and all aspects of fashion, including a founding member of Marc by Marc Jacobs, Uwila Warrior has qualities that make it an ideal Incubator brand: strong leadership and a business plan that is exciting and innovative."
"We are glad to be able to rely on Quiet's expertise as we launch our new lines," said Lisa Mullan Perkins, CEO and co-founder at Uwila Warrior. "We are able to focus our attention on what we do best – creating lingerie for the millennial woman – knowing that our brand image will be upheld and advanced with Quiet's innovative services."
Candidates for the Incubator must go through a careful vetting process that evaluates the business plan, financing, leadership, product profiles and more, enabling Quiet to hand-pick companies poised for success. Selected brands are responsible for driving execution, with close attention and assistance from Quiet's operations and support teams. The Incubator program also involves Quiet's partnership with e-Commerce platform Shopify and incorporates focused data monitoring, while minimizing risk due to a low percentage of space allocation.
