Analyst Update: Business Outlook, Dividend Declarations, Upcoming Results, and Financial Results

U.S. stocks closed higher on Tuesday, February 10, fueled by hopes of a debt agreement between Greece and its creditors. S&P 500 hits its highest level in 2015, closing 1.1% higher at 2,068.59. Nine of the 10 main sectors finished higher, while energy-sector stocks ended lower due to a drop in oil prices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 0.8% to 17,868.76 and Nasdaq Composite moved up 1.3% to close at 4,787.65. Greece officials said that they plan to propose a debt-compromise plan to creditors in Brussels on Wednesday. The European markets also mostly closed higher, driven by optimism for a potential Greek debt deal. Eurozone officials are said to be considering extending Greece's bailout program by up to six months. The Asian markets also ended higher on Greece deal hopes. Chinese markets rose on Tuesday, despite data showing that consumer inflation hit its five-year low in January - marking the weakest reading since November 2009.
Kosmos Energy Ltd. (Kosmos Energy) is set to announce Q4 2014 and full year 2014 financial results on February 23, 2015, before the stock market open via Business Wire and the Company's website, followed by a conference call, the same day, at 11:00 a.m. EST. As per Zacks investment research data, the Q4 2014 consensus EPS estimate is of a loss of six cents.
Laredo Petroleum, Inc. (Laredo) reported proved resources as well as preliminary operating results for 2014. In addition, the Company announced that it will host a conference call on February 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. CT (10:00 a.m. ET) to discuss its Q4 2014 and full-year 2014 financial and operating results and management's outlook for the future.
LRR Energy, L.P. (LRR Energy) is scheduled to announce its Q4 2014 operating and financial performance on March 3, 2015, after the close of NYSE trading, followed by a conference call, a day after, at 10:00 a.m. ET (9:00 a.m. CT). As per Zacks investment research data, the consensus earnings estimate is of 32 cents per limited partner unit.
Macquarie Infrastructure Company LLC (Macquarie Infrastructure) said that it will host a conference call and webcast discussing its Q4 2014 and full year 2014 financial results and business outlook on February 19, 2015. A day before i.e., on February 18, 2015, after the close of market trading, the Company will publish a press release summarizing its financial results.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. (Magellan) announced quarterly cash distribution of 69.5 cents per unit for Q4 2014, up 18.8% YoY and 4.1% sequentially. The new distribution, which equates to $2.78 per unit on an annualized basis, will be paid on February 13, 2015 to unitholders of record at the close of business on February 6, 2015.
