Analyst Update: New Products, Quarterly Results, and Upcoming Events

The U.S. indices plunged on Friday as Wall Street feared that a strong jobs report is likely to speed up the Federal Reserve's rate-hike schedule. A better-than-expected 295,000 jobs were created in February and as per U.S. non-farm payrolls (NFP) data, the unemployment rate fell more than expected to 5.5% in February. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 278.94 points, or 1.54%, to 17,856.78, the S&P 500 fell 29.78 points, or 1.42%, 2,071.26 and Nasdaq was down 55.44 points to end the session at 4,927.37. European equities closed mixed on Friday after fresh jobs data from the U.S. beat market expectations. Shares of stainless steel producers surged after news the European Union was set to impose anti-dumping duties on imports from China and Taiwan. The FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares ended 0.1% higher at 1,570.79. Asian shares largely rose on Friday, supported by a stronger close on Wall Street overnight, with Japanese and South Korean markets scaling fresh highs. Investors also awaited the U.S. nonfarm payrolls data. Japan's Nikkei 225 index gained 1.17%, while the Shanghai Composite was down 0.22%.
American Software, Inc. (American Software) announced its preliminary Q3 FY 2015 financial results with total revenues of $25.8 million, up 6% YoY, while net earnings were $2.8 million versus $2.5 million in Q3 FY 2014.
A leading provider of information availability software solutions, Attunity Ltd. (Attunity), has enhanced Attunity Replicate for Hadoop with additional optimizations and four new use cases to support a broader range of customer needs and Hadoop platforms.
Autodesk, Inc. (Autodesk) has announced Q4 FY 2015 and FY 2015 financial results. For the quarter, revenue increased 13% YoY to $665 million while total billings also increased 13% YoY. At the end of the quarter, cash flow from operating activities was a record $257 million, compared to $184 million at the end of Q4 FY 2014.
Bazaarvoice, Inc (Bazaarvoice), the network connecting brands and retailers to the authentic voices of consumers, has scheduled to conduct the 2015 Bazaarvoice Summit from June 2-4, 2015, in New Orleans. The Company has invited customers, partners, and experienced marketing and e-commerce practitioners to register for the event.
Benefitfocus, Inc. (Benefitfocus) announced its Q4 2014 and full-year 2014 financial results. Total revenue for the quarter was $40.2 million, an increase of 33% YoY, led by a 28% YoY increase in its Software segment revenue. The Company also provided outlook for 2015.
