Analyst Update: Financial Results, and 2015 Outlook

U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday as investors turned cautious ahead of the Fed meeting, which begins today. The NASDAQ Composite was down 0.63% to finish at 5,060.25, the S&P 500 slipped 0.41% to 2108.92, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.23% to end the session at 18,037.97. European stocks gained on Monday as Greece considered reshuffling its debt negotiators. Germany's DAX 30 jumped 1.93%; France's CAC 40 rose 1.30%, and London's FTSE 100 advanced 0.47% on Monday. Meanwhile, Asian stock markets mostly gained on Monday, amid surge in mining stocks in Australia and emanating news on possible reforms in China. The Shanghai Composite Index, Australia's S&P ASX and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index all closed higher on Monday.
E-House (China) Holdings Limited's (E-House) revenue for Q4 2014 jumped 22% YoY to $312.3 million while net income attributable to E-House shareholders stood at $18.6 million in Q4 2014 versus $31.8 million in corresponding prior year period.
On April 22, 2015, Brandywine Realty Trust had announced its Q1 2015 financial and operating results. Funds from Operations (FFO) available to common shares and units totaled $58.5 million or $0.32 per diluted share versus $53.6 million or $0.34 per diluted share in Q1 2014.
On April 22, 2015, Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (Ameriprise Financial) reported Q1 2015 net income from continuing operations attributable to Ameriprise Financial of $393 million, or $2.08 per diluted share versus net income from continuing operations attributable to Ameriprise Financial $401 million or $2.01 per diluted share in Q1 2014.
On April 22, 2015, Astoria Financial Corporation (Astoria) announced its Q1 2015 financial results. Net income available to common shareholders stood at $17.1 million or $0.17 per diluted share versus net income available to common shareholders of $29.4 million, or $0.30 per diluted share in Q1 2014.
On April 23, 2015, Medidata Solutions, Inc. (Medidata) reported net income $0.2 million in Q1 2015 compared with a net loss of $1.8 million posted in Q1 2014. Revenue for Q1 2015 rose 21% YoY to a record of $92.4 million. The Company also provided guidance for 2015.
