QTUM & AngelHack Launch Global DApp Hackathon Competition

SAN FRANCISCO, July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, AngelHack announced the launch of QTUM Hackathon 2018, a global, virtual hackathon for decentralized application (DApp) developers from around the world. Developers, designers, and entrepreneurs will have until September 16th to team up with no more than five individuals and build new startups using QTUM's payment, smart contract, and\or infrastructure development tool(s) in order to create an impactful DApp for QTUM blockchain.

QTUM will host three separate webinars on August 2nd, August 14th, and September 6th, to provide participants with guidance throughout the competition. All demos are due September 16th and judging occurs from September 17th-21st. The judges consist of c-suite executives from QTUM and founders of PlayCoin, Firmo.Network, Bluzelle, and Andoromeda.

The top 10 teams will receive a sum total of $484,000 worth of QTUM Tokens to split among the individual members as well as a travel stipend for up to 3 members of the winning teams for travel and lodging to Devcon 2018 in San Francisco. An additional $50,000 worth of QTUM Tokens will be awarded to community members who receive honorable mentions.
