Qqest Announces Mobile Solution for TimeForce II Customers
Application lets mobile workers clock in and out on their smart phones and attaches GPS location.
SANDY, Utah, March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Qqest announced the release of a mobile application that gives customers using TimeForce II time and attendance software, the ability to better manage employees who work outside of the office.
The TimeForce II time and attendance solution provides tremendous benefits to a wide range of companies. Now with the release of the new mobile applications, industries with on-the-go workers can submit time punches wherever they are and supervisors can track and enforce attendance policies easier than ever before. The new mobile application is ideal for customers that employ carpenters, electricians, landscapers, caterers, home care nurses, drivers and other mobile workers.
TimeForce II customers simply download the application from appropriate mobile provider's app store onto their individual smart phones. The new mobile application uses the phone's native platform, and allows for individual and group punches, and can include department, job and task information and restrictions.
As part of each time punch, the new application also logs GPS information obtained from the employee's internet service provider and displays the location on Google Maps. This gives employers more accurate information on where the employee is when clocking in. Benefits of the mobile application include:
Monitors Employee Locations: The new TimeForce II mobile application with its GPS feature, allows employers to verify that their employees are actually at the site where they are scheduled to work.
Budget and Resource Allocation: The application allows companies to track the time each job or task takes to complete, which gives them better information on which to base pricing, staffing and spending decisions. Schedules can be downloaded to the mobile app that will restrict the employee from punching in too early, preventing unplanned overtime and keeping payroll costs in check.
Enforces Policies: Some states like California have laws that penalize employers when workers do not take their full breaks—even when the company offers or requires them. TimeForce II and the new mobile application include "break" and "meal" punch-out options that prevent employees from punching back in until the break is complete.
The TimeForce II mobile application is now available for the iPhone (3G and 4G), iPad, and Blackberry platforms.
