Qorvis Celebrates 10 Agency-Wide Promotions
WASHINGTON, March 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Qorvis Communications, one of the fastest-growing integrated communications firms in the U.S., today announced 10 promotions across all levels, including those of Arthur Swift and Nicole Silverman to senior director.

Arthur Swift, who joined Qorvis in October 2009, is a strategic communications professional who offers 15 years of experience in politics, journalism and international public affairs. Swift has worked as chief of staff and director of research and policy for the lieutenant governor of New York, has written for the New York Daily News, was an on-air reporter and producer for ABC News, and has served as communications director for public policy campaigns. He is a graduate of Columbia University, with degrees in American History and Journalism. At Qorvis, Swift primarily advises international clients, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, providing strategic counsel and drafting communications plans, speeches and policy statements.
Nicole Silverman, who joined Qorvis in November 2009, is a strategic communications professional who offers 14 years of international public affairs experience and policy analysis. Silverman has worked with Fortune 500 companies, advised the European Commission and various departments within the UK government, and has built public health campaigns in Mexico. At Qorvis, she works with major companies, sovereign governments, industry coalitions and trade associations. Her clients have included: the Government of Sri Lanka, Pfizer, Bluestone Capital Partners, and the Open Internet Coalition.
Qorvis also promoted eight other employees to various levels. Promoted to managing director are Cara Lombardi and Joseph Chapman. Promoted to director is Lindsay Hyman. Promoted to senior associate are Kaitlin Vignali, Michael Hutshneker, David Silverstein, Rebecca McGee and Kate Berenato.
In February 2011, Qorvis announced the addition of four new partners: government and corporate communications strategist Gregory Lagana; Republican communications specialist John Reid; former Washington Times Editor Sam Dealey; and Dr. Ron Faucheux, who is being elevated to partner while retaining his position as President of Clarus Research Group, a Qorvis Company.
