Qorvis' Ayal Frank Discusses Government Relations With National Journal
WASHINGTON, Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Friday the National Journal interviewed Ayal Frank to discuss his career, expertise and perspective on government relations today. Frank brings nearly two decades of government relations expertise to Qorvis Communications as the agency's managing director and its first in-house lobbyist. He worked on Capitol Hill for two years, serving as senior legislative assistant to former Congressman James Maloney (D-CT). Most recently, Frank served as a director of international operations at the American Business Development Group.
In his new position, he wants to complement the public relations work that Qorvis has already with Congressional affairs services for its international clients. Governments require the services he will provide at Qorvis, he says, "in order to educate the American people, in order to educate the Congress, in order to impress upon the U.S. government that it is in its interest to pursue a policy, or to pursue a relationship, that's in the mutual interest."
