QinetiQ North America Appoints Dr. Scott Goldstein as Senior Vice President, National Systems
MCLEAN, Va., April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- QinetiQ North America today announced the appointment of Dr. Scott Goldstein as senior vice president and general manager of the National Systems Business Unit with the company's Mission Solutions Group. In this role, Dr. Goldstein will manage technology development and service delivery for contracts supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community.
Dr. Goldstein joins QinetiQ North America from ManTech International Corporation, where he was chief technology officer and senior vice president of the Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology Group. Prior to joining ManTech, Dr. Goldstein spent 10 years at SAIC where he managed technical contracts for DARPA, the service laboratories and R&D centers, (i.e., Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Office of Naval Research), the intelligence community and other research organizations in DoD and other agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security.

Dr. Goldstein has held positions at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Adaptronics, Inc., and was a Shackelford Fellow with the Radar Systems Division at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. He is a Colonel in the Air Force Reserve assigned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. Prior to that, he was the National Reconnaissance Office chief of flight safety, the director of special access programs and a watch commander at the NRO Ops Center. He also served in NRO AS&T, AFRL and the Air Staff. He began his military career serving in the U.S. Army.
Dr. Goldstein holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
