Qiming Venture Partners Announces a Number of Promotions
SHANGHAI, Jan. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Qiming Venture Partners ("Qiming"), a leading venture capital firm in China, today, announced the promotion of Peter YIN Ming (Cleantech), Stella ZHOU Lingfei (Intersumer), Shiyu WANG (Intersumer), Jay YIN Jie (Healthcare) to Principal, Jason HUANG Yu (Intersumer) to Vice President, and Holan LAM Ho Man to Financial Controller.
Peter Yin joined Qiming in February 2010. He focuses on the investment opportunities in the industries of environmental protection, energy saving, new energy, smart grid, electric vehicles and clean production. Prior to Qiming, Peter worked in the Capital Equity Department in GE. He holds a dual degree in Economics and Management from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a Master degree in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Stella Zhou joined Qiming in August 2010. Her investment area focuses on e-commerce, FinTech, mobile internet and consumer internet. Prior to joining Qiming, Stella worked in GE Capital Risk Management team based in Shanghai and HK. She holds a double B.S. in Economical Sociology and Accounting from Shanghai University of Finance & Economics.
Wang Shiyu has been with Qiming since January, 2012. He mainly focuses on social network, entertainment, eCommerce, O2O and other mobile internet opportunities. Previously, he worked at IDG Capital and China Renaissance. He received his Bachelor degree of Computer Science and Master degree of Management Science from Beihang University.
Jay Yin joined Qiming in July 2014 and focuses on investment in healthcare. Prior to Qiming, Jay was Director of Business Development in MicroPort Medical, where he helped MicroPort accomplish multiple international and domestic acquisitions and joint venture investment projects. Before joining MicroPort in 2012, Jay worked at GE healthcare and Johnson & Johnson in various business development & marketing positions, and launched multiple cardiovascular medical device products in the US and China markets. Jay holds a MBA degree from IMD, Lausanne Switzerland and a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Jason Huang joined Qiming in March 2014. His investment area focuses in FinTech, e-commerce, Mobile Internet and Online Education. Prior to joining Qiming, Jason worked for China Renaissance Partners and Bertelsmann Asia Investment. He holds a double B.S. in Finance and History from Peking University.
Holan Lam joined Qiming in June 2012. He is responsible for supporting the CFO on overseeing the overall fund reporting, operation & finance functions, as well as tax and regulatory compliance work. Prior to joining Qiming, Holan was an audit manager at KPMG Hong Kong, focusing on private equity and venture capital funds clients. Holan was graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor degree in Accounting. He is also a CPA and a CFA charter holder.
