QBE North America Unveils "10-4-10" Campaign to Recognize A&H Policyholders and Give Back to Their Communities
NEW YORK, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- QBE North America has unveiled a new program called "10-4-10," which recognizes Accident & Health policyholders who have renewed business with QBE for 10 consecutive years or more by granting a $10,000 donation to a local charity of their choice.
"QBE cares not only about the business our brokers and policyholders provide, but also about the communities where they live and work, which is why we created the innovative 10-4-10 program," said Steve Gransbury, President, Accident & Health, QBE North America. "As our brokers and policyholders serve their communities through outstanding charitable giving and volunteer work, we will augment the positive impact on the communities we all jointly serve."
10-4-10 builds on the success of the QBE Foundation Local Grant Program by directly placing grant dollars in the communities where QBE provides coverage. This program is a recognition of long-term relationships affirming 10 consecutive years of excellent partnership and alignment of core values between QBE and the broker, and the organization's dedication to providing superb underwriting and claims service to insureds. It also complements QBE's Premiums4Good program, where QBE commits to allocate 5% of policyholders' premiums to investments with an added social or environmental objective.
"Unique in the market, 10-4-10 is a tangible example of putting the customer at the center of everything we do in a manner that is meaningful and impactful in a substantive way beyond the policy renewal transaction," said Jeffrey S. Grange, President, Specialty Insurance, QBE North America. "Doing good is good business."
