QBE North America names new Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Richard Dziadzio has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for QBE North America. Dziadzio, who offers more than 25 years experience in the international insurance and finance sectors, will assume his new role in August.

"Richard brings a wealth of experience and we're pleased to have him join our executive team," said David Duclos, QBE North America Chief Executive Officer. "He will play an important role here in the U.S., as well as collaboratively with QBE's other financial teams around the world."

From 1994 to 2012, Dziadzio held a number of high-ranking positions at AXA Group, including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Executive Vice President for AXA Equitable Life Insurance and AXA Financial from 2007 to 2012.

After leaving AXA in 2012, Dziadzio for the past year served as Chief Financial Officer for ANV, a global specialty insurance company with offices in the U.S. and Europe.

Dziadzio received his MBA from INSEAD and has a BS degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
