QBE North America Appoints Kathleen O. Zortman President, Standard Lines - Property & Casualty
NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today QBE North America, an operating division of QBE Group, is announcing that Kathleen O. Zortman has joined the organization as President, Standard Lines – Property & Casualty. In this role Zortman will serve on the Executive Management Board and have responsibility for QBE North America's Commercial, Personal, Program and Agriculture businesses. This appointment underscores QBE's commitment to add top talent as it builds its North America specialty-focused insurance and reinsurance operations.

Zortman has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company where she served as Chief Field Executive managing a field organization of 1,000 employees and $2.3 billion in gross written premium. In this role Zortman was responsible for distribution, underwriting and customer service across Commercial, Programs, Professional Liability, Farm and Ranch, Entertainment and High-Net-Worth Personal insurance divisions.
Prior to Fireman's Fund, Zortman held leadership roles at Chubb, Johnson & Higgins and Deloitte Consulting.
