QBE North America Appoints Brian Griffith EVP, Field Management and Distribution
NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- QBE North America announced that Brian Griffith will join the organization on August 31 as Executive Vice President, Field Management and Distribution.
Mr. Griffith will be responsible for field management and will lead the strategy for all distribution channels across QBE, as well as drive all strategic agency management activities. This includes all US Major Trading Partner Engagement, as well as engagement at the regional level. Mr. Griffith is a proven Property and Casualty executive with a strong underwriting background and a track record of driving profitable growth. He began his career as an underwriter with The Hartford more than 22 years ago and advanced into many senior leadership roles including strategy development, National Head of Sales and Marketing, and most recently, P&L leader of the Northeast Division.
Working from the Simsbury, CT office, Mr. Griffith will report to Mark Cantin, President, Field Operations for QBE North America.

Mr. Griffith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
