NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- QBE today announced the appointment of Steven L. Gransbury as Underwriting Leader for its Specialty Accident & Health Division. He will head distribution and development of the division's health and special accident products.
Gransbury's career in medical stop loss reinsurance began 14 years ago at Boston area LDG Insurance Underwriters, which was later acquired by HCC Benefits Corp. (HCC Life). While there, he held several marketing and senior officer positions. Prior to his appointment with QBE, he served as Managing Director of SLG Benefits and Insurance, a QBE subsidiary, since 2003.
He is a graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y.
