PwC US Appoints Tom Codd US Human Capital Leader and a Vice Chair

NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that Tom Codd has assumed the role of US Human Capital Leader and a Vice Chairman, succeeding Terri McClements, who was recently named PwC's Washington Metro Market Managing Partner. Codd will be responsible for driving PwC's talent strategy, including its programs and policies around flexibility, engagement, career progression and leadership development.

Most recently, Codd served as PwC's North Texas Managing Partner. A recognized leader at the firm, he previously served as North Texas Assurance Leader, Central Region Assurance Managing Partner, Dallas Assurance Leader, Dallas Private Company Services Leader and Southwest Region Middle Market Advisory Services Leader. In 2005 and 2007, Codd was elected by his fellow partners to serve as a member of PwC's US Board of Partners and Principals.

An active member of the community, Codd has been involved with numerous boards and organizations including The Catholic Foundation, SMU Cox School of Business Executive Board, Dallas Zoological Society, The American Ireland Fund, SMU Athletic Forum, World Affairs Council of Dallas Fort-Worth, The Smurfit Graduate College of Business at UCD (Dublin, Ireland), Dallas Theater Center, University of Dallas, Dallas Regional Chamber and the Dallas Citizens Council.

Codd was honored in Irish America Magazine's Business 100 List annually from 2008 through 2013. A graduate of Purdue University, he is a licensed CPA in Texas.
