NEW YORK, July 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced today the appointment of Robert W. McCutcheon as leader of the firm's U.S. Industrial Products practice, effective immediately. McCutcheon, who previously served as the U.S. Metals leader for PwC, is a seasoned financial professional with more than 20 years of extensive experience providing audit and advisory services to both foreign and domestic industrial products companies.

In his new role, McCutcheon, who will remain as the Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office, will oversee the firm's team of over 4,000 professionals that provide comprehensive financial, operational, and strategic services to clients across the industrial products sector including aerospace & defense, chemicals, engineering & construction, industrial manufacturing, metals, transportation & logistics, and forest, paper and packaging. He will continue to directly be involved in serving clients of the firm from the Pittsburgh office.

Previously, as the U.S. Metals leader, McCutcheon led the team in assisting clients with acquisitions and divestitures, complex financial reporting issues, risk management, human capital issues and regulatory and compliance. Before that, he lived in Prague, serving as the regional leader for U.S. Quality and Compliance overseeing technical accounting and auditing matters for 26 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and CIS.
McCutcheon and his family are proud natives of Pittsburgh and are passionate about supporting their local community and creating a vibrant environment to live, work and raise a family. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University and an active leader in the Pittsburgh community as a member of the boards of The Pennsylvania Economy League of Southwestern Pennsylvania, The Laurel Highlands Council of the Boy Scouts of America, The United Way of Allegheny County and The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
