"Our goal is for students to walk away with a personalized toolkit and resources enabling them to discover and articulate their brand," says Holly Paul, PwC's US Recruiting Leader. "This experience will provide them with a competitive advantage from which to launch their career."
Each day, students will have the opportunity to complete a customized career-building experience, including personal assessments, exercises, and tools that will give them real-time feedback to their individual career questions. PwC wants students to be able to understand their own personal brand first, so they can best figure out how to move forward and design their career path – their own way.
PwC's personal brand experience will include:
Monday, February 6th: Tell your story—Day One will help students define their particular strengths and determine what they want to be known for.
Tuesday, February 7th: Value your passions—On Day Two, students may document and identify their passions before they can make important decisions about their future – whether it is choosing a major, selecting electives to help them stand out from the crowd, or identifying other ways to jump-start their career.
Wednesday, February 8th: Share your skills—Day Three will allow students to use what they have learned about their skills, values, and passions to identify the right volunteer opportunities to give back.
Thursday, February 9th: Stand out online—Day Four guides students as they analyze their online reputation and design a plan to align that with their real-world brand.
Friday, February 10th: Make your brand plan–Grow your own way—On Day Five, students write their branded bio and create their brand plan.
Students may participate in PwC's personal brand experience on February 6-10 by visiting the website at www.pwc.com/us/personalbrand and by checking in with their local campuses for Personal Brand events sponsored by PwC.
