NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US, the professional services firm, announced today that the firm signed a 10-year lease with CBRE Nashville for 10,750 square feet in The Pinnacle at Symphony Place. The firm will occupy the 14th floor of the downtown building that will prominently display PwC signage in the lobby.
"Our new space is being designed to accommodate our Nashville employees by providing an innovative work environment for our mobile workforce," said David Pickett, Office Managing Partner for PwC's Nashville office, in charge of overseeing the move. "We continue to see a demand for the firm's accounting, tax and consulting services and being more centrally located will enhance our client interactions and give our people a chance to experience the unique culture of Nashville."
During the fall of 2014, PwC anticipates relocating approximately 120 employees into the custom-designed workplace from the current location at 830 Crescent Centre Drive.
Pickett noted that the new layout of the space will enhance team collaboration, as the column-free floor plan design offers maximum space efficiency and an open environment for employees to interact, while offering full advantage of the city views. In addition, the building has 24-hour, on-site security and free Wi-Fi on the terrace to cater to the mobile worker.
The Pinnacle's unique design adds to Nashville's iconic downtown skyline, with the building featuring a sleek, all-glass wall exterior and a signature geometric crown feature on top. In selecting The Pinnacle, the firm studied traffic and commuting options, and took into consideration the walking distance to many restaurants, hotels and entertainment options, including Music City Center, Schermerhorn Symphony Center and Bridestone Arena. Employees will also have access to a three-story lobby with Italian travertine, eucalyptus wood, abundant natural light and dozens of amenities located in the building.
PwC is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and has joined the new building with energy efficiency in mind. The Pinnacle at Symphony Place is a LEED Gold certified tower with a built in recycling program, low water irrigation, hands free restroom fixtures and green cleaning, among other sustainable attributes.
