PwC Awarded USAID Contract to Support Advancements in Global Health
Firm wins government contract to aid in Global Health Supply Chain Program
WASHINGTON, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US announced that the firm has been awarded a government contract to aid in the mission of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to support the advancement of global health. Under the agreement, PwC will provide technical assistance to countries' health systems and supply chains to improve the long-term availability of health commodities as part of its Global Health Supply Chain Program.

PwC collaborated with Abt Associates, Bollore Africa Logistics, William Davidson Institute (WDI) at the University of Michigan, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL), VillageReach, Devis, LLamasoft, Applied Strategies, Pharmaceutical Systems Africa, TransCentury Associates, Development & Training Services, Inc., and GCC Technologies to win this award.
The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract serves the health commodity technical assistance needs of USAID, other U.S. government agencies, partner country governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other entities, across all health elements including malaria, family planning, HIV/AIDS, TB, maternal and child health, and more.
